bittersweet

Ever had really good, high quality chocolate? The kind with at least a 70% cocoa content, a satisfying snap, melts beautifully in your mouth revealing an intense and complex flavor with hints of spice or citrus? It awakens your senses and creates this awareness of how good chocolate can be and you cannot just go back to what you had before. There's a reason it's called bittersweet, because if that kind of chocolate resonates with you, it changes you. So when you are then presented with a Hershey milk chocolate bar, you can no longer derive any pleasure from it, because all you taste is the difference between what you had before and what you have now.

This is how the idea of dating makes me feel.
